Who we are

Viral Archive ZA (viralarchive.co.za) is a South African viral video archive built and run from Bothaville, Free State. This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit the site.

What we collect

• No accounts, no sign-ups and no passwords — we do not ask you to register.
• We do not collect names, ID numbers, addresses or payment details.
• Basic, aggregated visit statistics (pages viewed, country, device type) may be logged by our hosting provider to keep the site fast and online.
• Search terms you type into the archive search are used only to find a page for you.

Embeds and third parties

We do not rehost video content. Videos play through official YouTube, TikTok and Instagram embeds, and those platforms may set their own cookies once you click play. Their privacy policies apply to that playback. We load thumbnails first, so nothing is requested from those platforms until you choose to watch.

How we use information

Only to run and improve the archive. We never sell, rent or trade any visitor information, and we do not run advertising trackers.

Your rights (POPIA)

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Because we keep no personal profiles, this is usually a short conversation.

Copyright and takedowns

All video rights remain with their owners. If you own a clip embedded here and want it removed, contact us and we will remove the entry.
